The Electromechanical Technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting; complete preventative maintenance tasks, run medium/large projects, and repair production and facility equipment according to safety, preventative maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the company’s business goals and objectives.
Education: Associates degree and completion of a craft apprentice, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
Experience: 2+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills as well as PLC, HMI and frequency drive experience.
Licenses or Certifications: Controls, automation, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical preferred
Schedule: Monday - Friday
On call with other employees to respond to system alarms
Will include many evenings, weekends, and holidays
Flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary
Wage Grade: $18-$22/hour

Primary Job Functions
Knowledge of industrial electrical, control, and instrumentation systems. Examples include control relay login; voltage control schemes; photo-eyes; distance and pressure transducers; etc.
Ability to troubleshoot, modify, and program PLCs and HMIs.
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain frequency drives.
Ability to read and interpret maintenance/manufacturing manuals and blueprints.
Ability to use electrical and electronic test instruments as well as a full range of precision measuring tools to perform equipment repairs.
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the facility’s equipment.
Provide emergency/non-schedule repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Perform moderate machinist duties and responsibilities.
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Quality check equipment regularly to ensure everything is in working order.
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
Follow all company designated record keeping activities.
Comply with both worker safety and food safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
To perform the Greenhouse Technician position successfully and individual must perform the duties of this job satisfactorily at a sustained level of productivity by executing all primary and secondary job functions - all while complying with the company HACCP and food safety plans, strict biosecurity measures, and standard operating procedures.

Licenses or Certifications: None
Schedule: 8 hr. shift, average of 28 hours/week, 5-2-2-5 rotating schedule working every other weekend
Wage Grade: $12/hour
Primary Job Functions
Daily greenhouse functions including planting seeds, transplanting plants between grow beds, harvesting leafy greens, monitoring integrated pest control parameters, processing ready to eat produce, and packaging.
Comply with company bio-security plans, food safety requirements, and standard operating procedures related to all greenhouse tasks.
Safe and proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
Daily cleaning of tools, equipment, and work areas.
